Our Accreditation: UAF, the IAF MLA, and How to Verify Every Certificate
Accredify Global is accredited by UAF, an IAF MLA signatory, for 12 management system standards. This page lists that scope and shows you how to check our accreditation and any certificate we issue, in the UAF directory, on IAF CertSearch and in our own register.
How Accreditation Stands Behind Your Certificate
Accredify Global is accredited by UAF (United Accreditation Foundation) to certify management systems against ISO/IEC 17021-1. UAF is a signatory of the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA). Under the MLA, accreditation bodies are peer-evaluated and recognize each other’s accreditations as equivalent. An accredited certificate within that scope carries the same standing across member economies.
The chain has three links. IAF evaluates the accreditation body. UAF assesses Accredify Global’s competence, impartiality and audits. Accredify Global audits your management system and issues the certificate. Each link is checked by the one above it, and each can be verified by you.
The 12 Standards in Our UAF Accreditation
Each standard below is listed on our UAF accreditation and falls within UAF’s IAF MLA scope.
| Standard | Management system |
|---|---|
| ISO 9001 | Quality management |
| ISO 14001 | Environmental management |
| ISO 45001 | Occupational health and safety |
| ISO 50001 | Energy management |
| ISO 13485 | Quality management for medical devices |
| ISO/IEC 27001 | Information security management |
| ISO/IEC 27701 | Privacy information management |
| ISO/IEC 20000-1 | IT service management |
| ISO 22000 | Food safety management |
| ISO 37001 | Anti-bribery management |
| ISO 22301 | Business continuity management |
| ISO/IEC 42001 | AI management, assessed against ISO/IEC 42006 |
For ISO/IEC 42001, UAF assessed us against ISO/IEC 42006:2025. That standard sets extra requirements for bodies that certify AI management systems, including the AI competence of audit teams. Our ISO 42001 page explains what this means for your audit.
How to Verify Our Accreditation and Any Certificate
Three independent checks, each takes a minute. Do not rely on a logo alone.
What to Check on an Accredited Certificate
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Certification body and accreditation mark | Shows who issued the certificate and which accreditation body stands behind it |
| Standard and edition | For example ISO/IEC 27001:2022, not an older edition past its transition date |
| Scope statement | The activities, products or services covered must match what you are buying |
| Sites | A certificate for one site does not cover every location of the same company |
| Status and dates | Confirm the certificate is active, not suspended, withdrawn or expired |
| Accredited scope of the body | The standard must appear in the certification body’s accreditation, which you can check in the UAF directory |
If a tender or customer contract names a specific accreditation body, send us the exact wording before you book. We will tell you plainly whether our certificate meets it.
What Our Accreditation Does Not Cover
These are attestation reports, not ISO certificates. Only a licensed CPA firm can issue them. We manage the engagement and a licensed CPA partner firm performs the examination and signs the report. See SOC 1 and SOC 2.
We are not a notified body, C3PAO, QSA or TPN assessor. A certificate supports regulatory compliance but does not replace a licence or official approval.
We never write procedures or build the system we certify. That would break the impartiality rules our accreditation depends on.

Go to iafcertsearch.org and search by company name or certificate number. You can also check any certificate we issue on our own verification page or by scanning its QR code.
