Where Trust in a Certificate Comes From
Trust in a certificate comes from three things. The certification body must be accredited, so an independent body checks its work. It must be impartial, so decisions follow evidence rather than fees or relationships. And its rules must be public, so anyone can see how certificates are granted and withdrawn. Accredify Global is accredited by UAF and operates to ISO/IEC 17021-1.

Verify the Certification Scope Before Making a Decision
A useful certificate identifies the organization, the management-system standard and the activities or locations covered. When evaluating a certification service, ask which edition applies and what the proposed audit includes. Check the certification body's current accreditation entry and the relevant scope rather than relying on a logo alone. A certificate for one activity does not automatically cover every product, subsidiary or site operated by the same business.

A commercial introduction, training attendance or a partner relationship does not determine the audit findings or guarantee a certificate. Read the certification process before accepting a proposal. Discuss the audit scope, information needed, fees, surveillance arrangements, and how changes to your organization will be handled.
Raise Concerns Through the Appropriate Channel
Questions about audit conduct, use of information or a potential conflict should be raised promptly. Our complaints and appeals page explains the routes and what to include. Provide the relevant certificate or engagement reference, a clear description of the concern, and supporting information. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal or customer data in an initial enquiry. Contact the team if you need help identifying the appropriate channel.

Does Accredify Global offer consulting?
No, not to organizations we certify. Providing consultancy and then certifying the same system would compromise impartiality.
